Cory Trese, I've sent you an email with some game files in it. I can't land to complete a mission. The game seems to freeze. If I click on any other icon\button, the little windows waiting circle pops up and then I appear to be thrown back out into orbit or space. Running on Win7 ultimate with all known latest updates. Laptop is a Acer Aspire model 1830T-68U118.

Just sent you another email with some files. Started up a new captain and can't complete my first mission. It suppose to be a Return Shipping in the system but when you click on waypoint, it says its -2 jumps away. If I click on navigate, my ship doesn't move at all and no planets in the system have a mission icon on them.

ntsheep - sorry to hear it. Did you make sure to do a full uninstall for the new version? Using old maps? We will take a look at the game files you sent in. Thankfully, I am seeing no issues with missions here so it seems like the problem may be limited to your setup or your specific platform or something like that.

Yep, did a full uninstall. Always do just to be sure. I did also consider it could be hardware specific to me so that why I mentioned my laptop model. You should be able to look up the specs with that. If not I can send that info in an email too. The first one seems to be some sort of logic loop bug since it's not causing a full crash. I can get back to space and try landing again but it doesn't work. The second bug I ran into is probably a number or symbol in the wrong spot. I'll try to get as much more information as I can and get it to you. Tomorrow is a holiday and we digi-sheep take breaks

Hopefully the saved game will reveal the issue. Probably not actually your PC, unless there was a corrupted install or something. Could be a Talent, Job, Contact, ... something hard to reproduce without the game files. So thanks for sending them in!

I'm running into this again in the new 1.2.21 version. Did a full uninstall. Got a mission and when trying to land, the game hangs, click a few buttons, little windows circle starts going, background goes to black but buttons are still on screen. Can click back out into map and then go to orbit. Try landing and whole thing starts over. Sending games files to Cory Trese via email. Sent files to you both.

I landed on the industrial zone of Cuchulainn without a problem, clicked Missions, and am finish the Arbitrator's Risk mission now. Can you land on other worlds that don't have a mission? Is the game giving unexpected lag like this at any other point? If you go into your Mission list from the map, and cancel the mission, can you land on Cuchulainn?

I'll pay attention for any other oddities. Could be something related to my system if you were able to load the game files and play without any problem. Thanks for trying fallen.

Just wanted to say I haven't forgotten about this, just been a very long weekend at work and didn't have time to get back to testing yet. Was doing some heavy lifting again after all these months. Good workout but it drained me pretty good. I will try tomorrow fallen.

Good new fallen, I went to the other planet down to my lower left and was able to land in both areas of it. When I went back to the planet with the mission, I was able to land on it and complete that step of my mission. Still not sure whats causing the initial problem but it seems I have found a work around for now. I'll update you with any further info I can. Perhaps in the latest release, it won't happen at all.

Well it did happen again fallen but this time I was able to land on the planet. There was just no background, it was black. I also loaded up a photo to the shared album showing a strange battle between some xenos and me.

ntsheep - that looks classically like your device is out of memory to display graphics.
