Captain info carryover when creating new template

I just installed the latest version, and saw the 4 preset templates.
I chose to make my own. I went in, and the Explorer template is still set across the board on the right-hand side where it gives the summation of the template.
IE: explorer skill is 10.... But I haven't set skills yet.
I went in to choose contacts, there are 6 pre-set contacts.

Alex Fury , yes, when making a new captain template, there are pre-existing settings to make it a 'valid' template.

Not crazy about it either, especially with the skills settings, pain in the butt to get all of them back to zero

Hopefully will be addressed prior to launch, but (personally) didn't view it as a bug, just an inconvenience. (might be easier for TB to have a 'new' template be valid?) Hmmm.

Thanks for the post -- oversight on our part. New Template just does Copy, which is not what it is intended to do. At some point, True New got lost.

Turns out you can get it by clicking on the selected Template, then clicking new. Fixing it so that New just makes New.

Cool. I was flipping through the new defaults, then did new.. and started going 'wha?'
