I am in episode 3 at the Temple of Loss and I am quite befuddled what to do after fighting for a couple hours at the place with the Sedollan Lord. He still has a couple dozen fighters and spawns new ones. How can I ever get to him to kill him?? My characters are level 22 except Graes at 23 and they have really good armor. They can kill just about anything, but there are so many enemy fighters! What can I do??

You may be in a situation in which you need to let your team die and take a Restore Point. Then consider going to do some of the other story arcs in the game, or further explore the City of the Dead before coming back. Otherwise, kill any summoners you can until it is just the Seer Lord. Considering using items like Tomes on the last push

Thanks for the reply Fallen. I think I'll try a careful withdrawal from that scene and go from there. Though getting one more restore wouldn't matter as I've had 55 deaths so far lol. (First game). I am getting a lot of xp so that's good anyway.

I am not sure you'll be able to escape that tower with them on your heels, the stairs are likely to be only accessible out of combat.

So I decided to charge into the enemy and get killed to go to a restore point. And then the Sedollan Lord charged at Vraes. Long story short I won! Once the Lord died I just cleaned up his troops. Kjartan the Wizard hit groups with Firestorm and Choking Ash. Kyera the cleric used Banishment on groups but mainly healed. Vraes chopped everyone to bits with two swords. And Tamilin the thief did good damage with her bow. (Underdeep bow, 27-70 damage iirc). Fun times. :-).
So now the group stands before stairs to what looks like a door to a crypt. But I'm sending them back to rest, heal and buy things. Then I'll think where I want to go. Two characters will also level up. I'll probably go look for better armor and weapons while leaving a trail of dead evil things. Muahahaha!

Hahah, love it, thank you for sharing the tale. Definitely worth a return to town, re-equip, consider crafting some of the newest loot you got, and make sure to stock up on potions and tomes. Since you are very low level for that area, great work scoring 2 new levels. But, also consider doing some of the other story arcs in E2 / E3 that are still open to you and would give great experience.
