I'm working on the Factions article on the wiki and wondering what the implications of faction ownership of a quadrant are, if any. Obviously when we look at the galaxy map we see that each quadrant bears a particular flag. Does that mean that that quadrant is "owned" by that faction? Does that ownership cause the things I do in that quadrant to affect my rep with that faction more than others? Does that mean that only their military has the right to stop and inspect me there?
Any help would be helpful.
Also instead of making too many threads. I just want to get my vocab right.
There are Quadrants visible on the Galaxy map. Inside the quadrants there are systems?/stars? which house zones? And to travel between Quadrants we use Hyperwarp Gates? Obviously the more everybody is using exactly the same terms the more comprehensible it will be to newer folk.
