I tried different upgrade combos on the Juror Class, the Galtak Freighter, and the Frontier Liner. For that purpose, I saved my game and just spent the money, trying this and that then starting again from the saved game to try something else. It allowed me to see what could and couldn't be done (no, you cannot build a second bridge in a compartment of a different size then destroy the first bridge) and to see how much mass it all took without making all the calculations in my head. In Steam, that little trick won't work, so maybe the game could do the following: - Tell you when you can't do something even if you don't have the mass or money to do it. Right now, if you try to create a second bridge, the game will first tell you that you don't have enough credits left, or enough mass left, and only if you do have enough credits and mass available will it tell you that you can't create a second bridge anyway.
- Let you select different upgrades and not pay them as you select them. You could select different upgrades, see how they fit, see how much they cost in mass and credits, and only click on "apply the upgrades" when you're satisfied with the result. Basically, it would allow every player to try out different upgrade combos without the need to save their game (which won't be possible on Steam anyway).

Yep, definitely a feature on our list. Our term would be "ship designer", but we'll get there.
