Hey hi!
Discord seemed to think this was worth investigating, so I'm here to follow-through.
Questions:
1.) How do Crew, Morale, Component DMG/turn work? Our working examples are Bio-Agent Bomb: "After a successful Boarding, release deadly bio-agents into the enemy ship's ventilation; +10 Morale Dmg/Turn, +25 Crew Dmg/Turn for next 4 Turns" and
Reactor Surge (self-DMG): Buffs Ship with +3 Reactor Pts, +20% Accuracy, +10 Component Dmg/Turn, +10 Crew Dmg/Turn for next 1 Turns"
2.) Specifically, how are they distributed? -Is it only activated when otherwise damaged? -Is it a passive "bleed" type effect? -Is it distributed proportionally across all relevant targets? (Crew members HP or Morale pools, all ship components) -Is it applied completely to a single target/turn? -Is it applied 100% to ALL relevant targets?
3.) Does this type of damage interface with armor/shielding? -e.g. a "Pirate" captain pre-emptively stacking armor and shielding components/talents so the self-harm aspects of Burner Skid are made more palatable?
4.) Secondarily, how are boarding talents selected upon completion of a boarding? Let's assume I'm boarding with the gunner talent from range 3 - If my combat team has 4 unique boarding talents (say:Thrown Wrench, Bio-Agent Bomb, Call for Surrender and Unauthorized Access), will I:
- Have access to choose any of the 4? - Be able to USE all 4? - If only 2 are shown, how are those 2 determined?
Thanks a ton!!

It is active every turn, no matter what damage. It is a passive "bleed" effect. No, some crew will take 25 HP damage, others will not be harmed.
This type of damage bypasses Armor and Shielding completely.
You can only use 2 Talents no matter what during boarding.

Awesome! Thanks!
Follow-up q: in the crew damage example from Bio-Bomb, is it a single crewman per round, or is it a certain percentage of the #of crew on the ship? Or is it some kind of saving throw each crewman rolls to see if they’re affected?
Does a similar scheme apply to a component damage effect? (Mechanic:Thrown Wrench is a good example)
Thanks!

In the case of Thrown Wrench, this damage is applied directly as Internal Damage -- startraders.gamepedia.com/Ship_Damage_TypesIt would usually hit one component. Crew HP and MP will be damaged. For Bio-Bomb - at least 5 crew, maybe more.
