Is there a special type of contact mission that requires a medium component luxury cabin for 1 passenger?
Luxury Suites are large components and house 3 passengers. A regular Passenger Cabin is small and holds 1 passenger.
Seems like the passenger better be pretty important to give up that much ship space.
Thanks

Hmmm. Luxury cabins used to give a bonus to mission payment, not sure if that's the case anymore (you would think that it would be in the description?)
mis-remembered

They never gave a bonus payment.
There are no special mission types.
There will eventualy be mission types (transport Senator Liason, Judge, etc) that require Lux Cabins and pay more because of it.
Nothing in the game today.
We'll keep trying to improve.

I distinctly remember them giving a 10% bonus to mission pay during the alpha testing

Sorry if there was some confusion about that. I don't remember it, maybe it happened.

Yup. Diplomatic missions have been my bread and butter (and spice), and I too distinctly remember luxury suites giving a 10% bonus to mission pay.

Maybe everyone is remembering when we said that it might in the future? Or maybe Cory or I mis-posted facts. It was never the case. Diplomatic missions are great!

Diplo missions are great for other ways to make money and raise Rep during those longer missions too.

Yes they are. Diplo missions are great for other ways to make money and raise Rep during those longer missions too. In fact, you can usually mitigate most Rep lost during the actual Diplo steps in the missions by Patrolling, Trading, Blockading, etc in between the main Diplo mission steps. Sometimes you can even do small missions in the same quadrant to gain even more rep and faster tracks towards Trade Permits and such. It takes going slower and paying attention to every screen to make plans and backup plans in case your first plan goes south. Make the moat of those trips and the trip time between zones.

StarTraders2-v1.4.3 As mentioned above, I apologized if we ever misrepresented how the component worked. However, it never granted a bonus of any type. I am sorry that there was a typo in the component's description but it was nothing more than that. Have nice day!
