I was wondering if there were plans to include ways for players to take notes about planets/contacts/quadrants ect.
For me, I'd find it very useful playing smuggler so that I can remember supply/demand info about black markets. That a particular black market is, say, looking for Fighter Weapon Components and Narcotic Spice and selling Power Generators. Or maybe a way for players who have visited a black market to have that info available for them on the System Atlas screen.

uglymug - interesting request and not something we've looked at so far. You can mark planets with stars that you are interested in revisiting. You can see the market via the atlas. Your request specifically sounds like it is about the black market. Since the black market is an inversion of the trade law, we could feasibly provide a way to flip the atlas to show black market potential on any world.

So you could put a blue star on landing zones that have black markets for particular goods, and green star on others, etc... Then you can filter zones based on certain color stars.

Yeah, the way I generally play smuggler is that I'll run round-trip missions from a system with a black market, and pick up desired goods from independents on the way. The most profitable goods are generally in short supply, so I want to hit multiple independents to fill the hold. Basically I'd like the ability to make a shopping list in-game. You never really know what supply you're going to come across and it can be hard to remember demand for 5 or 6 goods - "Damn, did they want Narcotic or Refined Spice? Was it Capital Ship Components or Fighter Components? Gas Processors or Power Generators?"
Merchants can easily check all this by looking up the system atlas for the legal exchange. Smugglers have to try to remember this all by memory for the black market.
A way to toggle the system atlas to show the black market once a player has successful peeked at it would be very helpful. Perhaps a button on the planet entry in the system atlas that says "view Black Market" that would bring up a pop-up with BM supply and demand?

uglymug - I think once you had visited a zone, we could add this. Definitely a good idea and I've added it to our list #STF-3832.
