Every question below has been addressed:
- During ship combat, it would be quite nice to be able to see the purge talents more readily. I am memorizing them, certainly, but when you have nearly two full rows of talent it becomes a wash. Two solutions I could think of: allow us to rearrange talents on the bars (for both players and ships?), or have an icon of some sort for the type of buff and debuff the talent does.
- If the ship has successfully been defeated as of final boarding victory screen, we should not be able to waste our boarding abilities and have to go back through another round to watch the ship surrender and then back to another screen for victory. Does this make sense? Sorry if it's convoluted.
- The bars beneath the ships in ship combat should have some labels explaining what they are; I have seen a few people be confused by them, thinking they are something else.
- I find it difficult to navigate the victory screen with a lot of things to do. I strongly feel that the "stuff that is done" should be in an entirely separate screen beneath the actions you can take, or vice versa.
- On the victory screen, it would be nice if we could more readily see the faction/reputation changes as they are happening by the actions we are taking with the victory talents and actions.
- A way to view rumors and/or faction disputes and allegiances on the Atlas screen. Not as detailed as their respective screens, of course, but something just to say 'Hey, look out.'
- A way to more easily search for specific zone types via the galactic map (only visited ones, of course).
- Some form of clarity regarding "intimidating command" in the tooltip; it is reference nowhere else that I have seen other than the bounty hunter and commander skills and does not explain specifically what it is.
- Perhaps a way to upgrade ship modules to different sizes temporarily, but the ship is "locked" until you reduce the mass/size of a component to make up for the change (this can be done already, but you have to take a few extra steps, and sometimes lose money, but if this is intended, that's totally cool).
- A way to enlarge the bottom right log; perhaps it could be as simple as adding a tab to the ship system log from the ship window.
- A way to automatically hail and leave ships of friendly factions or higher as to avoid the alert prompt and selections thereafter; perhaps it could be a toggle somewhere that just says whether or not you're interested in attacking or griefing friendly factions.
- I bet this is a design choice that I've not seen or heard of yet, but, damage numbers on tooltips of crew in combat? Again, I bet there is a reason these do not exist, I just don't know it yet.
- I have seen this idea floated around a bit, and also want to echo it: a way to tell what era you are in, or even a way to know how long into the era we are in we are, or anything, really.
- A way to "lock" a crew/anything so that when you sort it stays put no matter what sort options you select.
- Given keybindings for interacting with random encounters in space are on their way, will we be able to bind a key to the card game button (both to start the game and to retry)?
- It has been brought up a couple of times that the assist modules on ships lead players to think they just add extra stats as a crew member does. "Boost ship skill pool" does make sense, but it's not getting the point across, for whatever reason. Perhaps "Raises Skill Cap" or something?
- A "what happened" screen whenever your captain dies. By extension, perhaps whenever a crew member dies, too.
- I am sure this is on the list for keybindings, but I'd like to make sure: A keybinding for the 'land' function.
- The ability to see operations skills while on the ship upgrade window in the starport.
- Keybindings on the GUI in some fashion for talents. Would be useful to have on everything that has a keybinding, but I don't think that extent is necessary.
- A list of all learned talents.
