Sorry for this newb question, but if I buy the steam key will I then be able to play the EA on my android?
Sadly I was only just becoming aware of how great all of the TB games are when the kikstartr was on.

The Steam EA key will not give you EA on Android. In order to play EA on Android you have to join the Alpha Team, install the Hockeyapp, enable installation of programs not in the Play Store, and sideload the game files. The Hockeyapp makes this easy to do as long as your comfortable enabling installation of non Play store files. I'm not sure if TBs are still allowing people to join the alpha team.
Be aware that STF has not be optimized for mobile yet, so the user interface is still clunky. Some people are using it, but I'm waiting until they start optimizing the UI for mobile, which shouldn't be too long from now.

Any Patreon at any level is invited -- www.patreon.com/TreseBrothersWith all the caveats mentioned by tenbsmith. Also, joining Patreon does not get you a key to get STF for free when it does release on mobile.

Thank you for the great information! I'll happily pay for the game on release day. I have yet to try a TB game I didn't like, and HoS and Battleforce are two of the best games of any kind I've ever played. STF looks amazing. Now I'll go and check out Patreon.
