There was a thread a few weeks ago somewhere on steam where another player commented that the titan displayed in ship combat is actually smaller than most other ships. The larger ships just don't seem very impressive graphically. (Separate thread on damage and in-game effects, this is just about graphics). Also, I don't usually focus on ship combat so this playthrough was the first time I mounted a large size gun, the gravcannon. I have to say it is very underwhelming graphically. It shoots little BB's. I'm sure graphics aren't high on your list, and maybe this is already covered in the forthcoming small ship release. But, I'd put in a plug for more impressive weapon animations for the bigger weapons.

Thanks, just posted the art to Patreon for the full size effort today.
Gravity Cannons and Missiles do not have their own animations and use Autocannon. On the list.

Along this line we also plan to re-do the weapon SFX for tiers and sizes so they sound more fierce when they're bigger.

I have a minor gripe about the weapons animations, one of a very short list of nitpicky items I have encountered that bugs me. The animations don't always match what I would think the weapon fire should look like. The biggest one is missiles, which look like PDC fire front the Expanse show. Plasma and torpedoes work for me, but I'm not crazy about the big blue lazer for rail guns either. I feel just a little bit guilty for this post, as I love almost everything about this game.

Thanks! 1. Missile animation is using auto-cannon animation. It is the only completely unfinished ship weapon attack. 2. Big blue laser is lance.

I kind of figured the missile graphics were set to be finalized. Is rail gun the green lazery one? Or I might just need to pay more attention to the crawl that lists combat actions...
