In a starport when word of the Galactic Union reaches me. Towards the end of the conversation my captain thinks to himself:
"Unfortunately, it isn't true. If the quadrant Senates really vote on the United Coalition and ratify it -- it will effect us all."
'effect' should be 'affect'.
