When starting a new Captain. Eight types are available to choose from. The Captain you choose has bonus traits.
Level(32) Skills. I wanted to make it obvious to myself where the skill points are going. This helps
when thinking about what jobs to combine. The first eight are your new Captain choices.
The rest are some of my favorite jobs to combine with the Captain, and Officers.
Note: Great news character Level cap has been raised from 32 to 40. Captain gets 44 job ranks Officers 40.

Starting Contacts: A new Captain can select up to 8 Contacts from this list depending on Template Prioritty.
The first 3 Contacts you pick will appear in the home quadrant. Contacts 4 through 8 will appear
in quadrants within three jumps of the home quadrant.

Bounty Hunter | Menacing: 20% chance of gaining a permanent +1 Intimidate skill bonus when levelling (max 12). |
Sharpshooter: +10% Ranged Accuracy. | |
Explorer | Device Freak: If captain or officer, gains a second gear slot. |
Adventurous: (Resilience)% of recovering 3 to 5 morale whenever exploring. | |
Merchant | Gossip: +20% chance of learning a rumor when spicing. |
Charmer: +3 Charisma. | |
Military Officer | Inspiring: 20% chance to gain permanent +1 Command Skill Bonus when leveling (max 12) |
Tough: +3 Fortitude, +10% Armor.Tough: +3 Fortitude, +10% Armor. | |
Pirate | Terrifying: +10% credits when blockading. |
Dead Aim: +15% Critical. | |
Smuggler | Focused: +1 Strength, +1 Quickness, +1 Fortitude. |
Shrewd: +3 Wisdom, +1 Quickness. | |
Spy | Charmer: +3 Charisma. |
Sharp-Witted: 25% chance of gaining double experience points each time experience is gained. | |
Zealot | Fearsome: -2 Charisma, +15% Damage. |
