All starting ships are supposed to have a passenger cabin, right? The Aeternum Vindex does not. I suggest replacing its default Reactor Spike Module with a passenger cabin.

Oh, because the arbiter cannot travel on that ship by default, huh? Hmm....

Yeah, that is a bummer. Will be a net nerf to the ship, making it less effective overall.
but that's why starting ships are not as good, nor as flex, as custom built ones.
will fix. Thanks, RIP Vindex@!

I don't see replacing the reactor spike module as a nerf, but as a way to make the ship a stronger choice. Starting with the passenger cabin would let me build up cash faster by letting me do a larger variety of starting missions. This would mean after a year or so, I would have more money for upgrades and my ship would be stronger than it otherwise would have been if I started with a Reactor Spike Module.
Besides, the RSM is worth like 3 skill points, and the ship has enough baseline WF capacity/efficiency that the WF bonus isn't needed anyway.

I did not study it carefully, but I found the windex a little low on fuel range, and removing the RSM makes it even lower.

I did not study it carefully, but I found the windex a little low on fuel range, and removing the RSM makes it even lower. It is? Its fuel range seems quite good compared to the Cautela Heavylift, but maybe using that the Heavylift for 75+% of my captains taints my perspective somewhat.

I just mean that if I swap out one of the components, I can make other adjustments to keep the ship competitive.
