Any updates on how and when you're going to start optimizing the UI for smaller screens in preparation for the move to Android, Google Play?
Will you want feedback on the UI from alpha team members with access to the game through the Hockey App?

Well, to give some insight, I can barely play the game on my phone. It's far too small for the game, but the problem lies in cluttering the screen if you just enlarged the buttons.

On my galaxy s5 the game as is is playable. There is the occasional frustrating moment when trying to sort the crew by jobs or accidentally pay for repairs that take 12 weeks when trying to make a deadline that inspire curses. I agree that just making buttons bigger is not the right answer. Although I did not like it at first, the options "drawer" that can be opened while planetside seems like a clever way around bouncing between 35 different menu screens with more user friendly buttons.

We just need a night of sleep, time to make coffee and a breather from this crazy Steam business. Then we'll get down to it. It will start with alpha updates to mobile that improve the UI Then we'll be chatting!

Good of you tenbsmith for bringing this up! fallen I am glad to hear the mobile UI is getting a priority on the long list of things still to do now that you guys got the 800 lb steam gorilla project out of the way now and can work on the mobile platform The game on mobile phones is very playable right now and enjoyable but it literally hurt the eyes to play for too long because many of the fonts are simply too small, it's an eye strain on an S8 and that's a reasonably large screen phone. Anyways, enough bugging you, I just couldn't pass up cheering for this!

saltin - yes, #1 is resolution handling and #2 is tooltips. Once these two are tackled, we will be way closer to playable.

My main problem isn't the reading. Once you're used to the UI, it's easy to remember where everything is. My problem is tiny buttons. Even with a stylus, it's sometimes challenging. I still try though. Btw, I'm just getting used to the new collapsible UI bar at the bottom when on a planet. Is there no longer any way to go the original Ship Repairs screen where I can see which components are damaged, see how long each repair is going to take, and then select what I want to fix? From my poking around this morning, all the buttons basically immediately do the action (heal/repair/pay/etc). This is kinda important for achieving some of the 2-year unlocks.

Thanks! Our #1 ting to address will be small stuff on screen.
