When I go to click on UI elements at the bottom of the screen, such as Missions or Atlas, I wind up clicking through to the taskbar. I can work around it by having the taskbar hidden for now.

Is the game fullscreen? This isn't a bug that we probably can do anything about if windows is bleeding clicks through a fullscreen to your OS. Laptop? Integrated graphics card? Update graphics drivers?

Update graphics drivers? The game is fullscreen, laptop is in my signature. It does have an integrated NVIDIA graphics card. I'll try updating the drivers

Sorry for the trouble. This isn't something that we'll be able to fix. OpenGL support is required, any any bugs in a particular OpenGL implementation will be exhibited by Star Traders: Frontiers, and any other OpenGL applications running on that machine.
Some drivers issues can be fixed with a GPU reset or a machine reboot when they crop up. Thanks for playing, sorry for the problems. I wish there was something that we could do but sadly in this case, we literally cannot fix anything because the broken part is way outside game.

Understandable Cory. It seems that updating the driver and restarting the laptop fixed the issue for now.
