On my HP Pavillion g7 laptop when I open STF in fullscreen mode there are horizontal black bars scrolling down the screen. It's fine in windowed mode.
Uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix it.
This also sometimes happens when I open ST4X, but restarting ST4X usually fixes it. Restarting doesn't fix it for me in STF, though.
I bought this laptop used and it's running Windows 10, if that helps.

Trying to figure out the specs, it looks like HP made more than a dozen different models they sold as g7.
This might be an issue with the wrong card, or wrong drivers, taking over when the game is fullscreen.
A lot of the g7 configurations I could find have hybrid or discrete cards. Those usually kick in when a game goes fullscreen, possibly it is not recognizing or is mis-configured for that mode.
If you post more details about the specific build and hardware, I may be able to figure out more.

All the graphics drivers listed on Intel's website that are compatible with my laptop's old M-370 i3 processor are either for a 32-bit Windows version or for Windows XP. This laptop is using 64-bit Windows 10, so I suppose all those listed graphics drivers are incompatible. I guess I'm stuck with the graphics driver I have, but playing STF in windowed works fine.
