The first place I noticed this is with Gus Kahern, but it is especially pronounced with Kaera Goldbern. In the early game, for all dialogue with story characters we hit their discussion button and then we're presented with all the dialogue options A, B, C etc. until we need to go out and do a mission. But sometimes we need to repeatedly hit the original discuss button to keep the conversation going. With Gus Kahern this happens at the end of the story. If we don't hit that button twice he will just stay on the planet even though we sorted out his stuff for him. With Kaera basically we can just keep hitting that button and she will keep telling us new stuff for quite awhile. I definitely like it better when we hit the Discuss button once and basically all of our current discussion options are there with ABCs. It feels like one conversation we're having. With Kaera I feel like I ask her one thing and then walk away, and then come back and ask another thing. The big thing, I think, is that there should be consistency or people will miss dialogue and options.
