Sorry in advance for the noob question, but here we go.
I'm trying to play the game by launching it remotely on my home gaming machine while I'm travelling. It loads and I can play somewhat, but every time I click on something, the screen won't update until I go to my 2nd monitor and change the focus to another window.
By this, I mean I click on a command (let's say the load button.to start the game). The screen freezes until I switch to my 2nd monitor and click on a window (let's say these forums). Once I do, I can go back to the first monitor and the screen updates. Any subsequent click requires that I go to the 2nd screen and click something again.
The only button that works immediately is the quit button.
Any ideas on how to get this to work?

What kind of remote access system are you using? This sounds like an issue with the screen sharing tool and GL window updates. Maybe it needs to be configured to draw GL updates as they occur.

Yeah. I'm sure it's nothing to do with the game itself, but was hoping someone else had done this. I've done it with a non-Steam game (Elite : Dangerous), but it isn't working for STF.
I'm using Anydesk to remote in. It's similar to Teamviewer, but much faster.

Ok, I tried switching from Direct 3D to Open GL and then to "no hardware acceleration". Same issue.
If I figure it out, I'll post an update.
