Heck! I second that! Half my Officer cadre, as competent as they are, seem to either be Drunks, Spice Addicts, or BOTH. I would pay good credits to help them out with their... habits. As it stands right now, the only option is a scavenging reward during a Medical Orbital event. Right?

I mean, they are using spice liberally. I could see that as being normal. Being a drunk, less so.

You could make this a risky thing to do, from a staffing perspective. You send your spice-addicted crew to rehab, and they come out unaddicted. But some large percentage of them have learned through therapy that the Spacer life is not for them -- if they want to stay sober, they have to stay out of space. And the unaddicted ones are more likely to fall off the wagon than other sorts, unless they have traits like 'Iron Spine' or 'Rigidly Lawful' or maybe some things in the 'Resist' set.

So he's a drunk that refuses anything but spice. I guess that's why we have spice beer.
