I was told in another conversation that Void/Rad resist was the same as Shielding Rating. It follows the same equation as shielding, in fact. The E-Tech talent to raise this adds 50 of each, which equates to 60% Mitigation if you had no components that added to it.
However, the components in the game add to it awkwardly. They appear to list the base rating added, while +shield and +armor components display a percentage, derived from their base rating.
I request no game change, but can you validate that my interpretation (which I'll refer to as #1) is correct?
Or is it #2: A percentage. If you have +6 Radiation Resist, you have +6% Radiation Resist. 100% would either hit some maximum or would make you immune.
Or is it #3: A flat amount like armor in CC that subtracts directly. 100 Radiation Resist would subtract 50-100 Radiation damage.
There's been some confusion on this and I'd like to call it out on the wiki.

Corrected on wiki now. It was a flat amount. Not a range like in TBF or HoS either.
