The CM Bio-Poison Grenade has:
"In crew combat, Crippling Grenade Attack hits 2 targets with 31-50 Dmg and -2 Initiative, +14 Bio-Poison Damage, -25% Parry, -25% Dodge, -10 Bio-Poison Resist for 3 Turns"
It is usable from position 1 only, and hits the front two for 16 initiative.
This isn't very competitive with other grenades overall, unless the DoT were never cured and battle lasted that long. Also the position 1 limitation is unique to it. There are a few options you could go if you wanted to buff this talent:
1a) Make it usable from position 2 as well. 1b) Swap -25% parry for -25% accuracy. (You're already going to be risking a lot putting a Rank 5+ CM in the front two positions. This de-risks that.)
Another approach would be to keep the talent as is but...
2a) The grenade hits all four enemies 2b) The base damage is reduced to 21-40 Damage 2c) The base accuracy is dropped by 1 or 2 Strong Dice.

Thanks for the feedback. I've adjusted Smoke Bomb and Bio-Poison to be useful from slot 1 or 2. BPG is focused on defense stripping for any type of attack and not going to change that.

Fair enough. I understand the theme. Position 2 for a grenade is consistent with almost all the grenades now. It could be usable when a CM is pulled forward a position by a foe and used to punish that.

With the Zeno hunter having a position 3-4 grenade, could this one be re-worked to be a position 2-3 grenade?
"In crew combat, Crippling Grenade Attack hits 2 targets with +14 Bio-Poison Damage, -15% Parry, -15% Dodge, -10 Bio-Poison Resist for 3 Turns"
12 init, position 2-3
Much less damage, more usability and keeps the "defense stripping for any type of attack" flavor.
I suppose the damage could be tweaked or the debuff... but having a 2-3 grenade would be interesting from a tactics perspective. As it sits, the current grenade is pretty much ignored unless it's a VERY specific build.

n3ctaris - put it on the long list for consideration, but frontline grenades generally include an impetus for combatants to leave their desired slots.
