In a system with 2 zones of different economy types, it can be very profitable to sell goods from one zone to the other, but it can be repetitive and not very interesting. Perhaps zones shouldn't demand goods that can be supplied by the second zone in a system. I think it would also make sense from a lore perspective, since the zones would likely have an intra-planetary trade treaty and not need star traders to transport goods that they can ship to each other over land.

Would you make an exception for orbital stations over populated worlds? They wouldn't have land or sea routes.

Would you make an exception for orbital stations over populated worlds? They wouldn't have land or sea routes. Would they not have cargo shuttles for orbital transportation? One of the blockade card results makes reference to intimidating a "smaller vessel", which would not make sense if the player was already in a small ship, unless there are even smaller vessels that are only in use or in-system travel.

I think they should still buy/sell what the other side has/wants, but the price that sellers get should be greatly reduced, reflecting that buyers are already gettting their needs somewhat met through means that don't involve star traders. (I am not willing to pay that much because Tony can get it for me, cheaper, from local agents.)

This game has a funny player base. "There is something that gets me easy money, but it's boring. Get rid of it!"
