Noticed again what seems like odd behaviour in craft.
Bomber after bombing run has somehow moved into enemy grid then docked into my ship (Probably wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't paying attention, and I wasn't paying attention, just somehow noticed it!? ... figure that one out?) 🤭
This is just absolutely horrifying, lads.. I mean, not only are my eyes working, but then I have to come here, file a bug report, sign bloody autographs for fans & whatnot.. No! I'm sick of.. Hold up a sec', my cat's trying to order a pizza... Not Hawaiin! Ugh.. sorry, I was talking to the cat.. Yeah I'm using one of them speech to text things.. No, not you, Mr. Whiskers, I'm talking to these people on the internet.. Ugh.. Yeah hang on lads, I'll hafta call you back.. 🤣💅

I'm having a similar problem with craft. Version: 2.6.29 Platform: Android Short description: Craft do not interdict torpedoes.
I have a Sword battlecruiser with a single hanger carrying a Faulker D5. When launching the craft with mission 'Tip of the spear' or 'Screening Swarm' with 3 turn flight plan, craft will neither intercept incoming xeno warp darts at range 4 or 5 nor will it ever land unless forced to by "knock from the void".
This did not occur in earlier versions.
Do you require more details?

pendell - def need more details or perhaps a saved game. Just popped open one of the carrier games I was playing all day today and can't reproduce it. Does this happen only in a single game? Only with a certain Interceptor or pilot?

Fallen ... I've only got the one interceptor, and just the one pilot. It's the same saved game I'm discussing with Cory in the other thread, the one in which buffs and debuffs are not expiring. Perhaps it is the same issue?
The game is on a droid. How would I go about sending you the saved game?

Depending on the Android, you might not be able to extract the files. We might have to wait until a player on another platform encounters the bug, or we're able to figure it out on our own.
Sadly none of the high turn games I tried have the issue (tested about 150 games)

I've updated to v.2.29 just then (Didn't notice another update was there)
Will let you know if erratic behaviour keeps happening. Idk what to tell ya, tho'? In v.2.27 which I was still playing up until a few moments ago, the craft were just obnoxious in what they were doing, surprised others didn't report it (although I have 5 craft & usually using 4) All four would be active, but at times two craft were under another two, and all craft were advancing into enemy area to then dock on my ship. It was kubrikian. 🤭
Swarming screen wasn't expiring also (similar to what pendell reported, I guess?)
Eh, anyway, will be back to babble further if it keeps up. Have a wonderful parsec! 🤭

In fairness, fallen, I saw similar behavior. Here's how it goes down:
Sword Battlecruiser MOTHER'S MERCY , carrying one Falker D5 interdictor.
1) Get into combat with an enemy. Flash jump to range 4. 2) Turn 1: Deploy Falker on Strafing Run (4-turn flight plan, inflicts accuracy penalty). Close to range 3 , firing railgun to inflict tag the beast or bombardment. 3) Turn 2: MERCY closes to range 2 , firing railgun/plasma and executes early boarding. Falker flies to enemy craft. 4) Turn 3: MERCY closes to range 1 , firing plasma/autoguns and again executes early boarding. Falker strafes enemy. 5) Turn 4: MERCY continues to board and deploys evasive maneuvers/vigilant sensors while firing autoguns to inflict debuffs such as venting hull. Falker lands -- and the image it uses to do so is to fly forward into the enemy craft and disappear! Text notations tells u "Falker D5 returns to hanger".
I didn't see any harm in it , because I have only one interdictor so it seemed a mere graphical error to me. I didn't want to waste your time with it, but it may be related to the person above's issue.

pendell - so could you redescribe this bug as the following? "instead of using the correct landing animation, the craft plays the animation to fly toward the enemy ship when it lands. all other gameplay is as expected"

I'm playing on a device that I try to keep off the internet, sorry I haven't been able to supply screenshots.
Pendall has given an accurate & coherent account of things. I just figured the results would've been easy enough to reproduce if someone was using a full carrier?
The ships do seem to return to dock properly now in v.2.29 & I think now v.2.31 also.. however, the flight plans other than strafing run for interceptors are still not returning to dock.

@unit - ok, well hope you can provide any salient details about those reports. Maybe pendell has seen them and can give the 1, 2, 3 on how we could reproduce. Will take another look, but so far nothing.
