~This is an evolving "working" list I'm constantly changing as I play and discover things.~
[1] Mouse wheel does not work to scroll missions [2] When looking at the [galactic] map with the [current missions] side bar up you cannot scroll wheel the map in or out, *however* the keyboard arrows and Pageup and Pagedown work. [3] You cannot click any active/highlighted contact/mission/etc... a second time and have it "ping" on the map. This means if you only have 1-contact you cannot get it to ping and instead need to re-set a WP. [4] [quadrant] map; While in the quadrant map, bring up [missions], select a local one, [action], [set WP], then select a different local planet, [action], [nav]. That then changes the WP and then travels you there; instead of what usually happens (the opposite) which is move to location, then advance the WP marker. [5] on the ship status screen; bring up the captains log with the hot key; hot key will then not close the window. ***************************************** * Post 3.x (this does not mean it's because of) * ***************************************** [1] Blade Hunt Mission (I think). The issue is I was at Fifth Pass had turned in all my [missions] was setting the next WP when I saw the Mission Marker on a planet. Checked the [Galactic] map and Mission marker was there too, same with the tool tip. But there was no listing in the Mission List for anything. It was search the Island. And it advanced to another step. At that point I'm fairly sure Blade Hunt changed from 2-jumps up to 3-jumps. Kobey - thank you for the post and for enjoying the game. We really hope you will take a moment to leave a review, we need every one to keep going. 1. That is odd. You're not able to scroll with mouse wheel? At the very least you can click and drag. I will check mouse wheel. 1b. What enhancements are you asking for specifically? 2. I am not sure what it means. Can you be specific in what clicks you are making and what information you are trying to see? "Drill in or out" is not clear. 3. What OS and OS version? Graphics driver? Do you have an integrated graphics card like Intel? 4. Thanks, this is on our long list already. 5. Sorry you don't find it usefl. 5b. See 2.

I can only select names shown and no key or mouse input will scroll the list and while I can sort the list (only in descending order) 1b. / 2. / 5b. The "enhancement" would be specifically when you select a [mission] or [contact] or even a [system] or [planet] to have the ability to click on info contained and link it to the appropriate area. ie. If I'm looking at a contact I should be able to click on their planet (or mission(s)) that relate and see the planet info from the [atlas]. Likewise if looking at the [atlas] and seeing a planet with [contacts] there I could be able to click the [contact] and again jump forward or back though the different sets of info. Actually it's really just a info linking thing but could be a pita to go though an implement still would be very helpful. Related to that if I'm in the [info] screen and left and/or right click a system I get multiple pop ups but cannot actually bring up any [atlas] information for that system. 3. Windows 10, fully patched, EVGA GeForce GT 1030 2GB Card, also fully updated. 5. I should not have said "useless" I used it a lot to start...but 23,000 turns later, as I mentioned I've got 11-contacts in systems all over the place there is no easy way for me to figure out which mission relates to which contact in a specific mission. I hope this explained what I mean...re-reading it I think it's a bit more clear than mud... As for the review...I don't write many but I have when it deserves it...and this deserves it. But story wise I have no idea where I am and was waiting to sort of finish a full play though first.

[3] **bug** when I was just writing this I was flipping back and forth from a full screen session. At this point the entire interface seems confused where I have a selection window open for [contacts] where I can mouse wheel the list up and down but not select anything nor close the selection. [3b] Issue was resolved by [ESC] out of everything but all other keyboard and mouse input did nothing. Read more: startradersrpg.proboards.com/post/217620/edit#ixzz63sg3n3dU3. What OS and OS version? Graphics driver? Do you have an integrated graphics card like Intel? ...ok I give up cannot get the multi quote thing working right so anyway... I am now able to replicate the issue consistently every time. When you are on the [galactic] map and you right click on a system it pops up a box that takes input. If you then right click another system WITHOUT closing the first popup a 2nd overlays it. At that point you can close the 2nd new pop up but the original one can no longer be interacted with or removed. [ESC] however will get you out.

Kobey - thanks for finding the pattern, there always is one Bug taken! Whenever you are opening a table like Contacts or Missions, are you using the << arrows to pin it closed so you can see where the Contacts are? Contacts, <<, filter Local, click Contact.

I abuse use the filters, Waypoint(s) and sort order while constantly << to the >> to get info I’m looking for to help plan routes. Which comes back to the point of being able to more efficiently move between info panels. (what I referred to as "drilling down" into more specific data). Ie. I get a mission to escort a person from A 5-jumps to B and then a drop off to C. 1. Bring up [galatic] map to see where B and C are. 2. Look for other missions that overlap (easy to see) 3a. Figure our which mission(s) they actually are. 3b. Bring up [mission] >> to find specifics. 3c. << and >> to plot main WP 3d. Sort [mission] to find nearest overlap 4. Navigate. Things become more burdensome when I have a half dozen overlaps and now need to figure out the specifics of each overlap. Is it a req. for resources? If so what and where can I get it. Other pick ups / drop offs? Then make sure I have space and/or pre-reqs complete. Etc... which means steps in 3 get repeated quite a fair bit. This would be significantly easier if there were clickable links where I could go from a [galactic] map showing [contacts] straight to the appropriate contact. Even better would be a breadcrumb trail that made [ESC] return you to the previous menu instead of just taking you back to the system view. So side question!I’m not here to bombard you with nitpicks or minor issues. I’m over 100-hours in and it’s been 100% completely playable and quite honestly might be my favorite title ever (this is a rather colossal thing considering my gaming expereince which is why I've come here to comment). It’s a little rough around the edges and designed from a touch screen input point of view. Are these comments helpful and/or how minor do you worry about?Ie. when coming out of a planet or jump if you are within a few units away from your objective the WP tracking line fails to display. (-1 on a scale of importance)

Awesome, absolutely the ability to bring up the galactic map during mission offer is on our list. To be even in the running for favorite game ever is nuts, so thank you The tracking line purposefully stops displaying when you are really close, it isn't a bug.
