I just failed an explore crew damage card. It says 14 crew have taken 30 damage each. However, 2 have taken 60 damage and 10 have taken 30 damage (=14 hits) I guess it's working as intended. It just is not consistent with the description. (Might also apply to similar salvage fails. Travel fails usually have the "takes x hits for y dmg each")

Yes, crew hits can double up. Two of those crew took 30 damage twice.

I guess it's working as intended. It just is not consistent with the description. fallenIt must depend on how you are interpreting the descriptions? We worked with the alpha testing team for Star Traders: Frontiers to work these out years ago. We can always try to improve, within the constraints. Did you have a suggestion?

Did you have a suggestion? I would also use the "the crew took x hits" wording. Reading the other wording made me expect an even distribution without the possibility of multiple hits. Then again, I'm coming from MtG and I like very exact wording...

(For this case): "...injured 12 of our crew, each suffering 30 or more points of damage."
In my case, at least, it never would have occurred to me that "14 of our crew" could mean 14 hits that may or may not all be applied to different crew.
