He's described as the great hope for the Cadar fleet, with his "new ideas". He organizes a galaxy-wide defense. And yet, he consistently has the lowest Wisdom on my crew...13, this run.
Mind you, this has absolutely 0 game effect--it just looks weird.

Sometimes the greatest leaders aren't wise, they're just stubborn and fully committed to a righteous cause.
In fact, sometimes understanding the odds does more harm than good.
Never tell Kolber Vopane the odds. He won't understand anyway.

"Wisdom" seems to be the closest thing the game has to "smarts", and its use in various Talents (like Engineer, Scientist) and operations suggests the same. Plus, it obviously doesn't represent experience, because it's fixed, barring a little variation due to Trait mutation. And he's even got the "Sharped Witted" Trait, which describes him as "asute and clever". Right.
Seriously, if Kober is bringing "fresh ideas" to the fleet, they're probably long the lines of, "Make sure socks match today."
For the record, he's also not particularly charismatic, despite being "Inspiring".
I mean, really, statswise, he's more of a slow-moving gorilla than anything else.
Were you trying to keep him from being used in crew combat, to avoid screwing up a story mission?
