Can't Upgrade?

I do not understand the ship upgrade system. Upgrades are hard to find, but even when I do find a port that will do them I often see the message 'Existing installed upgrades make installing this impossible for the shipyard'.

It does not tell me any more than this. If some upgrades make other upgrades impossible, it would be nice to know this when purchasing so that I can make a smart choice. Or if upgrades are not possible for some other reason, I would like to know that reason so I can address it.

As it stands I have lots of money and can't spend any of it on upgrades.



I am already a bit addicted to this game but I do find parts of it confusing and would like for many things to be clearer/explained to the player.

You can only get 1 upgrade for each section.

1 upgrade per section for each new ship you get. Impossible to remove the modifications. So your best bet now is to go steal somemore ships or buy a new one and look around the universe for the upgrades that serves your purpose the most

Next release I will improve the information to tell you which upgrades block the one you are looking at.
