I was wondering if it would be possible to instead of seeing just the amount of crew on defeated ships, to also be able to see which Officers are on board? Say you just defeated a ship with a Templar and Spy. You already have an open slot looking to fill it with one of those Officers. Would it be possible to offer one of those Officers a position just as you normally would when you find them; for the current rate you'd have to pay if found the traditional way instead of just blasting them into ashes?

For balance reasons, the enemy ships don't have officers or upgrades. Interesting suggestion and it will be part of ST2

Why are officers never killed in combat and you never have to repair their health?

Why are officers never killed in combat and you never have to repair their health? It keeps things simpler and that is how the game's internal data logic works. Can't be changed at this point, but they'll have health, combat death, levels, skills, ship duties, specific qualities and other individual customization in ST2.

You should make a new catagory. Star Traders 2. Or a stickied thread for anyone who wants to talk about ST2 has ideas for it etc.

Then we'll create a forum and have discussions with the beta testers. I love getting feedback and suggestions but even more than that I love designing games ... and for that, sometimes you need to let the game designer design

Given your track record so far, I think we can trust your design decisions.
I'm tired of customizing sigs every time I flash a ROM. This time it's plain old Torp City!
