Another issue. I took a contract out at Aro Prime. After completing it I have manually navigated to another location. On route I encounter another vessel. Afterwards i try to resume the jouney using the play like button. However instead or resuming my current course, I am directed back to aro prime.

That is a good point, and is an issue with the waypoint system. I will do my best to get this UI issue fixed for the next release (which we are sending to Apple in a few hours!)

Found another little issue. The various Ship upgrade buy buttons only seem to react to touches on the left hand side. I've not noticed this on any other buttons.
Also after winning combat, in the take cargo screens, the slider seems backwards compared to the order of the vessels. I.e. you move the slider towards the other vessel to take their cargo.
i am also seeing the elite upgrade issue. The app also seems to forget the upgrade and prompt to upgrade again. The map appears to be the full version though.

drsgoodall - thanks for the clear reports! You got iST-658 and iST-659 for the first two issues. We believe we have resolved the Elite upgrade issue and a new update with a bunch of bug fixes (including some of yours) has been put in the App Store queue for review!

Looking forward to the update!
Another issue for you; when explorating wilds, the load cargo screen does not scale to fit my screen. Instead I get a phone sized area with a scroll bar.

It is early days, but on the ipad3 I would certainly appreciate a larger font for the text descriptions. You have such a lot of real estate to play with and at the moment it is crammed into very small areas, in very small font. Sorry, could I just bump this one. It's turning into a bit of a deal breaker and wondering if it is just me? Now my eye's may be shot(?, but I don't think so), but it is incredibly frustrating to have to squint and pull the ipad closer each and everytime some narrative text comes up . That text often then sitting in the mind of some vast blankness of screen estate. I appreciate that this might be an impact of trying to deal with iphone screens, but even so. I think I only need to point you to the screenshots on the itunes store to illustrate what I mean. Any chance you guys could look at this? Thanks.

boom - the request is just to bump the default font size on all screens on the iPad, yes? You got iST-662 and we will investigate!

fallen - The music workaround you suggested doesn't work for me. I had a similar issue! What worked for me in the end was turning sounds completely off in the options, then on again, and adjusting the volume slightly. When I finished in the options menu, I had sound!

@bane - awesome post, hopefully this will help other players. We have an upgrade in the App Store queue waiting for approval that should resolve this for new players who haven't found some tricky workaround.

Spent several hours this afternoon looking into this report. An upcoming release will include much larger fonts for iPad. This thread is also inspiring me to go back and re-do all the Android Tablet UI as well.
