First Century, First Level 50

This is my first Century and also my first Level 50, and I wanted to post it. I have had trouble getting to level 50 because I tend to use combat characters. While they usually do fine, there are so many fights and the Surrender button is so close to the Attack button ...

Within the first 5 years of this character’s career, he was a wanted criminal among all houses and syndicates and was even imprisoned. However, things eventually turned around ... ("Mega Tent")

Through it all, he never changed ships ("Hardcore 4"), and the armor, guns, and torps could have been made of rock candy for all the use they got.

Welcome to the forum Apples2Oranges and fantastic work there! I can't believe you made it to level 50 in your starting ship! That's an impressive first post you've written. Many others (myself included) started off with lots of questions, and yet you've gotten a level 50 pilot already!

I noticed there were a few bugs you've picked up in your captain's record. The Title is the biggest and most obvious one, but the contracts record issues seem a little weird. How many do you think you rejected or had expire?

Thanks! I rejected assassination and bounty hunting contracts, around 5-10. I let some expire when spy wars came back around, and I suspect those were equal to the difference between what the counter says for contracts accepted vs completed.

I have to say that I did do quite a bit of window shopping, looking at available ships, but I was afraid a better ship would tempt me to get into fights. :-)
