I had a problem with my phone displaying a message several times a day stating ST had crashed, I wouldn’t be in-game or anything, it would just appear completely at random when I was doing other things with my phone, this been happening for the past couple of weeks. Also the game wouldn’t open, it would instantly force close when selecting a character to play.
Well generally I’d just click close and carry on with what I was doing, but last night I clicked the send report button not expecting much. I then came to this forum about half an hour later and started reading how to send a “bug report”, whilst I was reading Cory’s instructions my phone showed ST had been updated. Well f*** me if the problem hasn’t gone away!! I figured I’d wait a day to see if the error message would appear, but it hasn’t as of posting this message (would have seen it 2-3 times by now). More importantly I can also actually play the game and select a character to play/create.
I have no idea whether the update was targeted for my particular fault or if it was a lucky coincidence, but for all that is shiny and beautiful in the world, it sure felt like it. I have been playing this game for over 2 years and will read through the facebook page every couple of weeks, i consider this a really good game that deserves it’s rightful place on my front screen. I admit im not as fanatic as some and am personally not that interested in the other games you offer, not because of quality, but due to time given to playing any game on my phone, although I did purchase the ST award-upgrade thing as well as the pirates game (which after giving an hour of my time seems amazingly complicated, but that’s for another thread) purely to assist the Trese brothers hopeful expansion. i did give some thought to your kickstarter project but figured it just wasn't a game i can see myself playing, I originally purchased ST as it reminded me of the countless hours i played Frontier Elite II in my youth, an open-ended space game where i really was in control of what happened to my captain, i find ST offers mostly the same, and what i would want from an Android based game for the same genre.
I sincerely hope you, the Trese brothers go far, it was pleasing to read the article about “The Indie Road”. As a customer of yours, you should know that I believe you already go far and beyond what is expected.
Just keep up the exceptional good work
