Ok, was just ping-pong-ing back and forth between two planets to run out embargos (syndicate prime and steel fortress) buying and selling to waste time and make money.
stopped at Steel Fortress to sell a bunch and then went in to check if values were still good for one particular cargo. I went in to the buy/sell screen and clicked the icon.. ALL other planets save the one I was at were gone from the listing, showing no values.
I have not yet had a chance to recreate the bug, but for someone doing a merchant for a while that's rough.
all that I did before finding this sudden lack of listings
1) checked on possible other ships in shipyard 2) Fixed prow armor in military base 3) checked military rank ships 4) sold artifacts 5) sold records the prior sale created
I'm not sure if the listings are invalidated after a period of time (in which case Syndicate core should still be there as it's only 4 steps away) or if one of the other screens caused a reset

I'm guessing it's because of those scummy Steel Songers. Never trust them. They steal everything - including your ship log!!!
If you have a task killer that is running in the background, it might have been aggressive and cleared your game cache to free up memory. That would in turn erase all of your stored price points. Further, if you have options in your device for aggressive memory management, that would also cause the problem. Also, if you closed the app down (within the app management section of your device), it will not graciously save data like a proper exit. Finally, if you had the game running in the background while you (gasp) used your phone as a phone, the OS itself determines what stays and what goes in order provide the best experience for your current (non-ST) app.

slayernz - I have been regularly shifting between skype and star traders.. this is the first time its happened to me. I am not running any other task killers. So nothing new or out of the ordinary. And through the day I've used other apps just shifting between and not directly 'closing' ST.. and have had no issue.

Like slayernz said, its possible something cleared temp game cache, causing you to lose that info.
The only other thing I can think might be that those prices were really out of date, but I don't even know if that is a feature or not.
Otherwise, your game glitched on you. Was it only one commodity that lost price values, or all of them?

HateSolstice - All of them. And normally I can close out of the game any number of ways, even force-close, come back 3 days (RL) later and it has the list.. that's why it was so odd and annoying

HateSolstice - yes, just the one time so far.. might be a fluke, or just a really odd/rare bug that doesn't come up much/easily. Figured best to get it out there just in case

looks like not a bug, and just some kind of cache clear afterall.. Though, as a request to fallen and Cory Trese: A way to save it past cache clears would be great.

I don't think its possible. It's not meant to be permanent or even long term info. Not that your request is ridiculous or dumb - its neither of those - but its just not really sensible I think. No offense.
