This particular question has been bugging me for the last couple of days and I could not find the information here. I will like to know what is the difference between taking contracts from the Palace, Spice Hall, and Military Base? I playing as Cadar Soldier because I like big shiny torpedoes and have rank 4 with them currently. I wanted to know what I should be looking for when I take contracts from my own faction or in general.

Not sure, in my experience there really isn't one and for ex. The spice hall is where I go when the palace runs out.

I was just thinking about the economy affecting the prices giving out between the places where you get contracts. For ex: if I had a 10 star rating in the palace and a 4 star rating in the spice hall will that affect the payment of the contracts and how many I can apply for. I am still not sure how the planet rating affects the outcome of getting desirable outcomes when it comes to Buying/Selling and getting paid for contracts.

Absolutely -- the hostility bias, difficulty, payout, destination, type of contract, conflict awareness and viability of bonuses for professions, officers and ship condition all vary depending on where you get the contract.
The differences are many and substantial. All three contract generators matrix together your permits, warrants and ranks in a similar fashion but that doesn't mean they're all the same.

Source: Military Base Best System: High Security Ratings Conflict: Spy War / Solar War Spy Wars also sometimes stack with Embargo, and triple stack with Records shortages =) I tried to make it as logical as possible |

Agreed! I was wondering about the ratings myself, and this helped immensely. I'll pay more attention to this and see how the contracts change.

Thank you for the explanation. The ratings make a lot more sense to me now. Now I have to watch closely the conflicts which planets to go to to get the best contracts. One more question if you will. I can pretty much sum up what most of the star ratings do the only one I am still not sure of is economy and how that affects a planet. The others are pretty much self explanatory but this one has me second guessing at times.  |
