When I try to disarm a trap which is out of range, the character automatically walks to the target instead and then sets off the trap. Better in this case not to start walking.

drsgoodall - are you double-tapping to move your character?

I am seeing this with a single tap.

Single tap will not move a character -- only show the blue ring.
Are you seeing the message in gold font saying "Out of Range" when you use the Talent?
I am, hope we're getting the same results.
If I tap *twice* I can move into the trap, but that's true of any Talent I have selected.

So I select the disarm talent, single tap a square and see the gold out of range message. Then the character starts to move to the selected square. This appears to only happen in "glob" mode. With the separate party members the character does not move.

Thank you for the explanation.
I have logged HOS #2247 to fix it.

I've gotten the same reaction from using Farsight out of range. Except the thief doesn't auto-use Farsight when in range after walking, but decides to walk to the spot I tried to Farsight. x.x And she does this when glomming OR alone.

Weird, Farsight was one of the heavily tested talents, with numerous suggestions going back and forth, but never did we find that the thief actually moved instead of casting the spell.

During Alpha Glom mode. The group always moved to a map location with a single tap. I thought this was just a convenience.
I never picked up on the problem, because when I used Tamlin to disable a trap, or use Farsight she was always separated from the rest of the group, in double tap move mode.

This was a change that was made late in the alpha and we didn't get enough testing from you guys for this code. My fault.
