Not sure anyone will find this useful, but started keeping little notes on things in the game. Figured I'd post some of the equipment up, apologies for the fact it isn't very organized! Depending on how long I keep making my own information, I'll try and update this now and then.
Notes
-Cost/Sell are based on Nightmare. I've no idea if the price changes on other game difficulties. Expect a lot of the Sell column to remain blank as I don't have the spare coin to purchase every item to just fill it in unless I need the item myself.
-Location Purchased is just that, a settlement where the item can be bought at Cost.
-Location Found lists the general area where the item either has a guaranteed drop from either a hidden spot or chest, and where it can be given as a quest reward.
Armor and Toughness Reduction
The amount of damage armor can absorb is worked out as follows.
A) Total all your armor together into one sum.
B) Your armor will always stop 50% of the total sum.
C) Your armor will also then stop an additional number, worked out by randomizing the other 50% of your total armor.
Example: Total Armor of 50. It will always block 25 damage, and then block an additional 1-25 resulting in a range of 26-50.
Toughness also reduces the damage taken, following the same rules as Armor.

13/12/13 - Out of curiosity while I wait for a bugfix on my current main run, I decided to blast through on an easy one to have a look at more drops. What I discovered means I'll be removing "Location Found" from items unless it is a guaranteed (like the Sage Ring) and adding a "Location Purchased". The difference in loot quality between difficulties is just too much for a generalized estimate to be useful.
16/12/13 - Starting updating to include version 1.1.19 items.
18/12/13 - Updated to include information on how armor works, and some reorganization.
06/01/14 - With version 1.1.25 the Cost/Sell columns are out of date, and will remain so until a further major update (as in when I get back to playing regularly!)
26/01/14 - Finally starting to play again! Any prices currently up are accurate up to version 1.2.3!
29/01/14 - Updated to include Riven Field.
31/01/14 - Updated to include the various Camps throughout Part 1.2.
