I've found it takes 2AP to change your weapons in combat as if you do it at the beginning of combat, you end up with 5AP after you've done the gear swap. However, if you have 2AP left in your turn and try and change your gear, you get "Not enough AP".

Might be intentional? Stop people from taking a swing or two with a really hard hitting weapon at the beginning of a turn then swapping to ridiculous parry or a shield.
...yes I considered trying it.

It's still a 2AP cost - either change the error to "Equipment changes can only happen at the beginning of a turn" or it should work with 2AP left

slayernz - gear changes are allowed at any time, as long as you have the AP. This bug is fixed in next by replacing some > with >=

Cool that is probably used throughout some of your other code too such as the old leveling up only if you had MORE than the required amount ... you fixed that though - so we're all good
