Version 1.1.17
Bug Report When using talents that grant a character extra AP, it appears that the player cannot actually use those extra AP if he has used all of his normal AP. For example, I cast Burst of Speed on Vraes at the start of combat, costing 1 AP. After that I make 2 attacks with my two-handed spear, costing 3 AP each for a total of all 7 "normal" AP used. However, since I cast Burst of Speed, Vraes has 1 "move" AP saved up. He will not be able to move though. Not sure if this is a bug or working as intended, but it surprised me!
Possible Solution Either state somewhere that extra AP cannot be used after all normal AP are exhausted (in some kind of game manual?) or fix it so the extra AP are usable after all "normal" AP are used.

johndramey - are you seeing the display of "AP : Move-AP" in the HUD? If the "Move-AP" is displayed, then you should be able to use the extra point.

Yup, my exact situation was actually with Vincent and Charged Speed. Had my AP displayed as 0-2 and was unable to move. I'll test again ASAP and report back.

Ok, wanted to be sure we were talking oranges to oranges. We will take a look here too!

No, that's correct -- that sounds like how it is implemented.
I will discuss with Andrew if I have mis-read the specifications.

Yup, just tested on Vraes's Burst of Speed and Vincent's Charged Speed talents. Both of them will not allow you to use the extra AP if the character has no "normal" AP left. I don't think it's a huge deal if that is the intended system, just caught me by surprise the first time. Now that I know it will happen I can avoid it with no real problem at all, so if it is an intended system maybe having some kind of pop up or disclaimer letting other players know would be worthwhile. Again, not a huge thing. Just thought I'd post about it to be safe

Seems like still being able to use the unspent move-ap would be good for closing the gap to a Shaman sitting behind his defensive infantry before the next combat round. Or in my case getting next to the darn bowrats.

The display, which shows unusable Move points, maybe removed for characters that cannot use them defensively.
