Hi All. Would someone be so kind, as to tell me what the little grey anchor symbol means, that is at the start of some post titles? Thanks.

No clue. The mouse over says "This thread is falling"

No clue. The mouse over says "This thread is falling" Ah. I looked it up. It's been set, so my post won't climb to the top of the list, even if it receives a new reply. Opposite to 'sticky". Done to push a topic, down and out of view. :/

I realise what I said about G+, was uninformed, but sneaky subversive tactics in response, are not acceptable. I could have been asked, (nicely), to edit the incorrect info out, and would have been more than happy to oblige. Thanks for the link Dayan.

I set that.
I did it because the thread was resolved as far as I was concerned.

Generally we prefer not to delete threads because inevitably sooner or later, someone else is going to come up with the exact same question, and having an original thread that can be searched for is soooo much easier Apologies for any misunderstandings on the anchor though - it's pretty new to Proboards and Cory's only just now learning to unleash its power.

I've been using the Anchor thing for months, this is the first time anyone has complained.
I figured everyone saw why. Read my mind, plz?

I've been using the Anchor thing for months, this is the first time anyone has complained. I figured everyone saw why. Read my mind, plz? Chill Cory. I've already moved on. It was a post I read on forum sliding, that marked it as an option that anyone on a site can do, if they want to bury a post they disagree with. I didn't know what was going on, nor who was causing the slide. I'd never even seen sliding before. So once you said it was you, it gave me a frame of reference to work from. Also. Because Fallen said he didn't know what the anchor was, I thought it was being implemented, outside Trese Brothers control. So. No problem! Thanks for the input Slayernz.

Just a quick question, how much does the anchor weigh ;-)

Hold onto it and see how far it takes you ... in space, nobody can hold their breath Oh ... anchored this thread too as it's really been answered. If you're really really enthusiastic, keep responding here until we get to page 12+ ...

I've been using the Anchor thing for months, this is the first time anyone has complained. I figured everyone saw why. Read my mind, plz? If anyone cares: I, for my part, never complained because I've never seen it, not when when watching the Forum from my Computer nor when checked from the Phone Browser or the PB App... Just my few cents, don't you dare to anchor that post. *Blubb, Blubb, Blubb, Blubb...* Sinking... Sent from my broken HTC Desire C using proboards. Anyone's got a fan?

If you want the threads to sink quickly, you could always tie Cory's TWENTY mobile phones to them. They'd go down like a lead balloon. ;P
