Has anyone else figured out how to enlist 4 runners, under their Knight, as allies?

4 is the max team size, barring bugs. So you can make allies out of more of them, but only travel with any 3 allies at one time.

@rawk - 4 is the max, so 3 Runners or Allies.

Except for the bug (I don't know if it has been corrected or not) in MnB that allowed you to have 4 runners/allies at the same time because of an "add-runner event", there is no way to have more than 3 team mates at the same time. (The in-game reason for that is that a Cyber Knight is supposed to be in hiding all the time because of the constant danger of heat ; having an army is not safe at all because it draws too much attention. A team of 4, including the Cyber Knight, is already dangerous enough.)

Needless to say I grinded him on my team......and now the very foundations of the megacorps tremble at our shod footsteps! Bwahahahahah

Yes, there are still a few places in the story where you can pick up more than 5. If you are able to grind to allies quickly, you can even make it last a while.

Hey i just had an interesting idea... u guys hv always said that the team limit is to keep unwanted attention away right??? So im not sure if u already do this or not but how about hv heat easier to gain and harder to lose the larger ur team is... not unreasonbly hard but noticeble and more pronounced on higher difficulties... hehe make brutal just that much more interesting for gravling lol

Except that Grävling already prefers _small_teams.

Is that because corporate response teams are generated from team size, and you feel that more team members just means too much attention?

Is that because corporate response teams are generated from team size, and you feel that more team members just means too much attention? I prefer fighting smaller teams, both in terms of 'how many opponents do I get' and 'how many chars I have to manipulate'. It is not as if there is a huge variety of _fighting styles_ in CK -- there is the 'shoot them with a pistol', 'shoot them with a rifle' and 'punch them', or some combination of the above. Also, when playing Brutal, the problem is affording good armour and weapons for a large team. I'd rather kit my knight out with the best than have him and a runner have mediocre stuff for a long time because they simply cannot afford any better. Then when my knight is looking good (no nano armour yet, but a shock glove, a rifle, and some hard armour) I want to train up a runner, and give him/her the best in armour and weaponry as well. By the time I have this accomplished, there really isn't much point in adding another baby runner that needs training. The game will be throwing very hard enemies at you, based on your XP, and the baby runner mostly gets killed.

I added more, this note just to make sure Cory who may have already read the first version knows there is more to read.
