Sorry if it's already been mentioned but there's a game called Out There available since late February and... oh my GOD!!! Everyone who is a fan of space games HAVE to buy this game. It's phenomenal! Insane amount of content and tough like a roguelike should be!

Just picked it up, looking at the video, it looks like a much more exploration oriented game than ST and some other sandbox games. I'm all over that, I can't think of many space games that don't focus as much on combat since Starflight back in the old Amiga/Commodore days. Its not a swipe at ST at all, setting and premisewise I wouldn't change a thing. But this brings me back to why we're. Supposed to head to space to begin with- Science and technology and finance, and because we have maybe half a million years before this planet becomes unable to support life. To survive- we gotta make like Kerbals.

I don't understand why Out There, needs my geographical location apart from what Google Play requires for payments.
It feels like data collecting.

Market research. It may not work with small developers so much but markets pay pretty good to get data showing how well certain products and their genres do in certain regions, that way when they have a new product to introduce they can do it in areas known to like other products like it to minimize risk. Its cold hard numbers. Its why you see certain products in some parts of the country or world but not others.
Its good to keep an eye on your identity, but things like this I wouldn't worry too much.

ROOOOOOOFFL!! You're like a widely known Forum Provider your Brother and me recently talked about... ''Damn it, Customers are talking about another Game! Catch them, someone!! Kill on Sight if unable to catch, lethal Force IS authorized. I repeat, lethal Force is authorized.'' Sorry, had to do this. xD Sent from my broken HTC Desire C using proboards. Anyone's got a fan?

Or they're just curious if you're one of their aliens... But you're right, this shows once again: Games without Permissions are 1: Rare, 2: Damn hard to find.
