Your inventory sorting, grouping, and when selling stuff

I'm still keen on the grouped items in the inventory - there are a ton of duplicates that always occur and having them grouped would certainly make managing a large list a little better.
Filtering would be cool too - or at least sorting. Filtering may be better though, because you may only want to view gear that does extra damage, or does extra damage and has accuracy bonus. That type of filtering could be really tricky though so it's just a little dream of mine (a cat nap type dream)
Sorting though would allow you to change it from the current "last things found go at the bottom" sort order. Maybe last things you find should go at the top. Or should be sorted by item type then damage/primary attribute
But the biggest thing I'd like to see right now is when you're selling stuff - please please please don't send me back to the top of the screen again. Leave me exactly where I was in the inventory - just have the item sold disappear from view. If that's tricky - even greying the item out with a "sold" sticker might be okay - you could even have the opportunity of buying back something you accidentally sold. The thing I'm after though is not losing my place in the inventory - I may well have chosen to keep the first 20 items, but can lose track every time I sell something new.
OOOorr (light-bulb moment) ... you could be able to select multiple things at once and press "sell" and they all sell at the same time. That way you can scroll through your entire inventory, ticking things off (or unticking) as you go through. Only after you finish your cull will you sell and reap the financial rewards
