I am curious as to which characters are players favorites and why. For me:
Vraes vs. Kincaid: Vraes is a very effective Tank/Damage Dealer, but I find him one dimensional and less exciting to play than Kincaid with his attack options. FAVORITE: Definitely Kincaid, Hands Down
Kjartan vs. Vincent: I really like both these characters and the options they provide. With my above mentioned love for Kincaid, and my like of playing him with 1 AP blades, I really like the support of Kjartan's Choaking Ashes. FAVORITE: Slight edge to Kjartan
Kyera vs. Fyona: I haven't played Kyera since my first group, so I probably can't give a balanced comparison, but I just love Fyona's buffing attacks... They work so well when played together properly. FAVORITE: Fyona
Tamlin vs. Selen: Tamlin is a solid character, but I just love Selen's Pinning Shot even with it being an SP drain. Selen is also a solid melee fighter, and I enjoy watching her work in concert with the other melee characters. FAVORITE: Selen
Thoughts on my favorites? What are yours?

Vraes v Kincaid: big V has gotten me through some rough fights, no doubt. But he is so one dimensional that I hate playing with him now. Ok I don't hate it. But when Kincaid has all those amazing abilities, critical boosting, and FRICKIN THROWING KNIVES!! It's hard to go back to playing someone who just stands there and gets hit. Kincaid gets my vote, without a doubt.
Vincent v KJ: Almost dead even. They are both equally useful. Vincent takes it by a slim margin, only because of Lightning Spear- this ability pwns this game, and is unbeatable for early and consistent raw damage.
Ky v Fy: Both have their places in my groups, and I use them both equally. Kyera is my favorite- EA, great healing, Sacrifice, and DD capabilities makeher useful in any build.
Tamilin v Selen: No contest. Selen by a landslide. Tam is the true sniper, of this there is no doubt, but she suffers from the same drawbacks as Vraes- her playstyle is paper thin. She stands in one place and slaughters. Selen can do anything- AoE ranged, Neo-Tank, critical hit specialist, stealth lead.... There isn't anything she can't handle, and I've seen her tank harder than Vraes, standing in the middle of a dozen enemies and just as many archers, done right she is an un-hittable- dancing doom.

Hmmm This is hard for me as I'm constantly trying out new groups and messing with different builds. All the characters are useful
A full melee Selen is my most favorite to play. I just love her running up and spalatting something I love vincents lightening
Kyera and Fyona are equal for me. Both are awesome for different reasons
Vraes is my buddy. Kincaid is fun
All said and done; Selen is my favorite overall.

En1gma I imagine Kincaid saying "I'm not left handed! " I imagine Kincaid actually saying "I'm ALSO not left handed" which is an important difference

If Inigo had started that fight right handed, he would have killed Wesley in under a minute. Did anyone read the book? If not, it is an amazing read and highly recommended.

Admittedly I haven't. I'll add it to the short list.

Inigo trains tirelessly for many many years, under the tutelage of one of the world's greatest grandmasters, his entire life was bent on the hunt for the six-fingered man. He looked for over a decade with no leads whatsoever, and revenge can't pay the bills, so he became a drunken sell-sword, fighting men left handed just for sport. No man could best him with his right hand, but he had fought left handed for so long thatby the time he switched it was too late... Poor Inigo... I need a hobby...

Bah, the only thing young Wesley had was determination. Inigo was berated, beaten down, and depressed. Wesley had true love he was chasing and had a purpose for his life. In an even fight, Inigo wins, every time. Grandmaster, or some pirate lord? I'll take my chances with Inigo every time.
