I bought a new phone (HTC Mini 2) this weekend and I wanted to play HoS on it. I 're-downloaded it from Amazon but it can't seem to be able to restore my purchase (Elite edition and I bought all characters on my previous phone). Any idea on how to fix it ?

It's very counter-intuitive on Amazon. You have to "re-buy" each character. So click on the "Purchase" button in-game and you'll get taken to a screen asking if you want to purchase with money or Amazon coins. Choose one (it doesn't matter which) and press the "Purchase" button -- only then will Amazon check your account and realize that you already purchased the character. You won't get charged again and the character will be once again available in your app.

I'll contact Amazon support, the behavior I get with the Amazon test SDK and my live account is that the Restore button automatically restores all purchases.

Cory Trese : since I could restore my purchase, I don't feel the need to do it. But I have to admit that this behavior is really painful. Do you want me to contact Amazon support too ?

fallen : absolutely. I tried clicking on "restore" several times and got a "downloading purchase" pop-up but nothing changed. Only after trying to buy my purchases anew that I got a "already purchased" and a "purchased" just besides characters portraits (like it is usually).

beuns - just to confirm, you had tried the "Restore" button and it was not working for you? Just want to jump in here and say that the "Restore" button most definitely did not work for me either. As I said in my above post, I had to go through the purchase process again to get Amazon to realize that I had already purchased. The "Restore" button gave me a message that said "Downloading..." but nothing ever got downloaded.

I don't typically play HoS (burnt out at the Torrent Watersheds), but I decided to give this another go on my RAZR. I have the free version with everything bought at for whatever reason I couldn't get my purchases to show up on my phone either (despite showing up on my Kindle Fire). I did notice that my Amazon Game circle didn't log me in, so I logged in, closed down the game and reopened it-- my Game circle logged in and my purchases were all there. Have you tried that? And your best bet is to get hold of customer support yourself-- its typically not more than a half-hour of your time and if all fails they may just give you credits to buy everything for no added cost to you.

Officer Genious : thanks to mrsarfa, I manage to get my purchases back (when buying it anew Amazon recognize that you already bought it) but I still can't log on game circle, that can be a part of the problem...will try it soon.
