www.dropbox.com/s/tqmzr2xgrdn86u6/HOS_watertrap2.jpg?dl=0(Drop box, just click and go). It's easy to miss the extra white water that gives a water trap a away but if you look at the center of a water tile, you'll see what I call the "white eye" shape that's a dead give away. If it's too hard to see the white eye, look at the space between the rock in the center and the rock in the upper right corner of the tile. Traps have a white mound of water, safe tiles do not. In the image, Vras is standing right above the water trap. For helps spotting other traps and secret doors, check out fallen 's thread on the subject: startradersrpg.proboards.com/post/76319/threadEDIT: Given slayernz observations, I swapped out photos. The new one has circles highlighting the white mound and what I've called the white eye. The white mound in the upper right corner of the tile is the easiest visual cue to spot.

That's very cool vdx ... I had no idea how to identify the trap, and even your description of the "eye" wasn't clear until the additional information you shared. I'm getting close to the River Torrent so will do some screen shotting and highlighting for the other thread.

vdx great markup - we'll have to get that into the other thread so people can easily refer to it

Thanks vdx! Good stuff. I agree with Slayernz that it would be nice to appear in the other thread, maybe it could mention the originator--vdx.

Anybody find the new traps? You mean the fire puffers in the CoD? If so, then yes. In fact, somehow I recognized them as traps without recognizing that they were different from the other ones until I disarmed them. I actually made Vraes set one off because I had used all of Selen's AP and needed to reposition him for the next turn. He simultaneously wet himself and got his shorts dried at the same time.
