Is a Cyber Knight/Runner considered a master in a given skill, whether augmented or natural progression? I have an idea, but I don't want to say it unless I get an answer that I think could work.

I think 12 is the maximum for a non Profession skill, i.e. a Gunslinger can have 16 max Firearms, while a Sniper can have 16 max Stealth.

While I understand that, I mean, if a person is hiring me for my skill, exactly at what point would a person consider me a master at something. Odds of meeting someone at 12 athletics would be pretty rare, but I would like to have some random encounter with the local Firearms expert where he challenges to a duel and basically has a one shot who does the most damage in one shot contest. Maybe have it to where beating him allows a secondary use of an ability. Maybe he could be class specific (For example, Agent EX might unlock getting a free turn in combat, a brawler might get to use Grapple one time for free). Just an idea.

Most of my Brutal Knights get retired when their stats get to be 8s -- or 8s in the things I care about -- for what it is worth.
