Contacts with Black Market access will help. I know you have to win the card game, but it's not as unforgiving as other card games. Sell a bunch of intel or do missions for the contact, and their high influence will result in more Market access cards at one time. That way you don't need to hunt down an Indie world with low trade law.

Larger ships having a cap on pilot dice could make smaller ships more appealing... or just make all ships worse in the end lol.

If you set a waypoint to a world in a different quad, it will choose a world in the same quad as the destination. Tried it twice, and both times it did it, but not sure if it is a "always will do it" event.

I clicked on the spy action, Pirate card, clicked mousewheel several times, pirate encounter happened, encounter ended, dual screen.

Windows 10. It looks like it occured because I kept clicking the mousewheel to go back a screen, resulting in it trying to display the quad screen, but the encounter took place, and tried to return to the orbit screen upon completion.

I was spying, and got a pirate card, but instead of clicking on the fight button, I used a mousewheel click in panic trying to run. The screen popped up for the pirate, and I surrendered. It resulted in a split screen where... I'll just post the image. Needed to close the game because it wasn't responding correctly. Hot keys seemed to work, but mouse clicks weren't.
