So, I just made it to Oskahold on Nightmare with no deaths. I like where my team is at for the most part, but I'm not sure about Fyona. So far, she has done her job as jack-of-all-trades offtank / buffer / healer, but I'm not sure how viable this will be as things progress.
At the moment she is level 5, with Con 6, Int 6, Know 4, with Zealous Strikes 1, Hammer Blow 1, Blessed Aura 2, and Shield of Cortias 2.
Can she off tank / heal well? Should she be a damage dealer? Just trying to figure out the right way to go with Nightmare in mind. Thanks!
Also, I love this game!

spellvexit - welcome to the forum and great post. An answer might depend on the rest of the group, but she can do all of those. My warning would be to pick one or two and focus. My Fyona on my Nightmare Ladder group carries a 2H hammer, focuses on Zealous Strikes and Blessed Aura. She is the big damage dealer in the group, and heals when she has to (trades 3 AP hammer attack for 3 AP heal).

Yup, she can do each thing well, but not all at once. I've focused on her off-tanking and providing survival for the rest of the team in the form of buffs. Maxing SoC and RF, one point in Reckoning, one extra point in Blessed Aura. Although, I'll probably get rid of that if/when respec becomes available.

Ps. glad you enjoy the game! I hope you'll update your review on your market! Thanks for the tips. Right now Vraes is a super tank, 1H sword and shield, Phalanx, etc. Depending on the composition of the enemies, Selen either runs around cursing with Punishing Blades or zips in to finish guys off. Vincent is back line, focusing on cursing and Lightning Spear. I didn't really want to run 4 melee characters.

spellvexit - perhaps you could play Fyona as Heal / Buff support with dashes of Holy Strickening to make Vincent really deadly. Selen can stack elemental damage later to join in the fun

I've found that letting more than one character stand in front of enemy tend to be disastrous. And tucking all characters behind a wide back tend to diminish damage output. Going to respec all characters for ranged attack, and let tank tank.
