The compass rose in the bottom right hand corner still has the wind direction backwards.

I left it that way on purpose -- is there some internationally accepted compass rose color scheme that we should be using?

Sorry, don't follow? The compass rose appears to be displaying all directions correctly, just visually confirmed. The color scheme changed with the wind direction patch, but as far as I can tell no bug was introduced. From my review on a couple of devices, North is 0 and S is 180. Confused!

In this image the wind the coming from the North West. But the highlighted part of the compass rose is the South East direction. It is the red compass direction that is NW.

grävling I think it's correct in that picture. If the wind is coming from the northwest, then to go in that direction would take the most time, indicated by the 'red' compass arrow pointing in that direction. To travel downwind- southeast, would be fastest, indicated by the 'blue' compass arrow. I think it's supposed to be telling you which directions are best to travel. Or just think of the red arrow as being the direction the wind comes from, not the way the wind is traveling.

I would agree that the compass is indicating best (blue) and worst (red) travel directions.

What I am reacting to is the highlighting around a particular direction, when that direction isn't the direction that the wind is blowing from. My expectation is for the reverse, if any highlighting is to be done.

grävling - yes, I understand your reaction. However, the UI is indicating optimal sail direction, not wind direction. The wind is coming out of the Nw.

grävling - yes, I understand your reaction. However, the UI is indicating optimal sail direction, not wind direction. The wind is coming out of the Nw. Assuming, of course that your ship likes to run, with the wind directly behind. Do all ships in AoP prefer this? (Because in the real world, this is by no means true.)

grävling - it is a relatively simple UI, giving cues to the user about possible optimal directions of sail. Thanks for the feedback!
