Can't wait for this one! I have a game in 21AE that could use a Trade Focus.

I've been meaning to ask for a while that difficulty and map get shown on empire summary. But you beat me to it!
I like the focus upgrades also. Quick question about research focus bonus: is it 2% of RP at the time you activated the bonus or does the bonus increase as your RP increases via spice halls and starports? Also, could I keep buying research and trade focuses so that eventually I get a 30% RP bonus and 300 TP bonus, or could I only use each focus once?

I read the blog. Now I understand how it works. Although, I have a problem with CP consumption as necessary for continued activation. This means whether a colony has 5 or 30CP, all CP will be used every turn for the same bonus. Would it not make more sense for the bonus to be based on used CP per turn, or for a certain amount of CP (10 for example) to be used every turn, in which other not used CP could be used for upgrades and income?

Sorry, that's just the nature of the Focus system -- the way it was able to be implemented in the saved game format and game engine. It was built this way intentionally, to add depth and variety to the game. Not all Colonies will benefit from a Focus. Some colonies it is much, much better to leave them "Economically Focused" that is to say, with Idle CP. Thanks for the feeback!
